Determination of Amount of Compensation by AgreementU.K.

10 Amount of compensation may be determined by agreement.U.K.

The amount of compensation to be paid F1. . . by reason of the execution of any works in or over any lands required to be kept free from buildings, may be determined by agreement between the said Secretary of State and all parties having any estate or interest in such lands respectively.

11 Corporations, tenents for life, trustees, committees, &c. empowered to agree. U.K.

All corporations and all . . . F2F3 trustees for charitable or other purposes of any lands required F4. . . to be kept free from buildings, [F2and all . . . F3], and the . . . F2, guardians, trustees, . . . F5, and attorneys of such of the owners of or other persons interested in any such lands as may be [F3 . . . F2infants . . . F5F6or] beyond the seas, or otherwise incapable of acting for themselves, may agree with the said Secretary of State as to the amount of such compensation to be paid for F4. . . any damage sustained in respect thereof.

All agreements made and acts done by such corporations and persons respectively in relation to such compensation shall be valid and effectual in law to all intents and purposes whatsoever.
