(1)Rhaid i Weinidogion Cymru roi canllawiau i awdurdodau tai lleol ynghylch gwneud trefniadau y mae awdurdod tai lleol, o dan y trefniadau hynny, yn gwarantu y telir rhent gan feddiannydd llety tai yn unol â chytundeb o unrhyw fath.
(2)Cyn rhoi canllawiau o dan yr adran hon, rhaid i Weinidogion Cymru ymgynghori ag awdurdodau tai lleol ac unrhyw bersonau eraill y maent yn ystyried eu bod yn briodol.
(3)Caiff Gweinidogion Cymru ddiwygio neu ddisodli canllawiau o dan yr adran hon drwy roi canllawiau pellach.
(4)Rhaid i Weinidogion Cymru gyhoeddi canllawiau o dan yr adran hon.
(5)Yn yr adran hon, ystyr “awdurdod tai lleol” yw cyngor sir neu gyngor bwrdeistref sirol yng Nghymru.
