The Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section 32 of the Education (Wales) Measure 2011(1), make the following Order:
Title and application
1.—(1) The title of this Order is the Education (Wales) Measure 2011 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2012.
(2) This Order applies in relation to Wales.
Commencement
2. Sections 1 to 9 of the Education (Wales) Measure 2011 come into force on 16 November 2012.

Explanatory Note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This is the first commencement Order made by the Welsh Ministers under the Education (Wales) Measure 2011 (“the 2011 Measure”). The Order brings sections 1 to 9 of the 2011 Measure into force on 16 November 2012. Sections 1 to 9 of the 2011 Measure make provision about collaboration by education bodies in Wales.
