The Judicial Pensions (Fee-Paid Judges) (Amendment) Regulations 2023

The Lord Chancellor, in relation to judicial offices for which the Lord Chancellor is the appropriate Minister within the meaning of section 30 of the Judicial Pensions and Retirement Act 1993(1) and the Secretary of State in relation to judicial offices for which the Secretary of State is the appropriate Minister within the meaning of section 30 of that Act, make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 18A of that Act(2).

A draft of this instrument has been laid before and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament pursuant to section 29(2A)(3) of that Act.

Section 18A was inserted by section 78(1) of the Pension Schemes Act 2015 (c. 8).

Paragraph (2A) was inserted by section 78(2) of the Pensions Schemes Act 2015.
