The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 28(1) of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992(1).
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the National College for Advanced Transport and Infrastructure (Designated Institution in Further Education and Revocations) (Revocation) Order 2023 and comes into force on 23rd October 2023.
(2) This Order extends to England and Wales.
2. The National College for Advanced Transport and Infrastructure (Designated Institution in Further Education and Revocations) Order 2021(2) is revoked.

This Order revokes the National College for Advanced Transport and Infrastructure (Designated Institution in Further Education and Revocations) Order 2021 (S.I. 2021/446) (“the 2021 Order”) with the effect that the National College for Advanced Transport and Infrastructure is no longer a designated institution for the purposes of section 28 of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992 (c. 13). This Order extends to England and Wales and, in line with the 2021 Order, it applies in relation to England only.
The 2021 Order revoked the National College for High Speed Rail (Incorporation) Order 2015 (S.I. 2015/1457) and the National College for High Speed Rail (Government) Regulations 2015 (S.I. 2015/1458). Those revocations will be unaffected by this Order, by virtue of sections 15 and 23 of the Interpretation Act 1978 (c. 30).
An impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as it has no impact on businesses and civil society organisations. The instrument has no impact on the public sector.
1992 c. 13. Section 28(1) was amended by section 143(1)(a) of the Learning and Skills Act 2000 (c. 21) and sections 32(2)(a) and 36(2) of the Skills and Post-16 Education Act 2022 (c. 21).
