The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 31 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004(1), makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Cambridge City Fringes Joint Committee (Revocation) Order 2011 and shall come into force on 21st December 2011.

Revocation

2.  The Cambridge City Fringes Joint Committee Order 2009(2) is revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order revokes the Cambridge City Fringes Joint Committee Order 2009. That Order established a joint committee between Cambridgeshire County Council, Cambridge City Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council in respect of the area specified in the Agreement between those authorities dated 9 September 2008.

An impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private or voluntary sectors is foreseen, and the impact on the public sector is minimal.
