1. This Order may be cited as the Bass (Specified Areas) (Prohibition of Fishing) (Variation) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 15th February 1999.
2.—(1) The Bass (Specified Areas) (Prohibition of Fishing) Order 1990(1) shall be varied in accordance with the following paragraphs of this article.
(2) In article 2 (prohibition) after the words “(Dicentrarchus labrax)” there shall be inserted the following words–
“, or fishing for any species of sea-fish using sand-eels (Ammodytidae) as bait,”.
(3) For the Schedule there shall be substituted the Schedule set out in the Schedule to this Order.
3. The Bass (Specified Areas) (Prohibition of Fishing) (Variation) Order 1992(2) is hereby revoked.
