Citation, commencement and interpretation
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Radioactivity in Sheep) Partial Revocation Order 1997 and shall come into force on 22nd January 1997.
(2) In this Order, “the principal Order” means the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Radioactivity in Sheep) Order 1991(1).
Partial revocation
2.—(1) The principal Order is revoked so far as it designates any part of the areas set out in Schedule 1 to this Order.
(2) Part II of Schedule 1 to the principal Order shall be amended in accordance with Schedule 2 to this Order.
