Consequential changes of electoral arrangements

5.—(1) Area A described in Part I of the Schedule to this Order (being the area transferred by article 4(1) of this Order)—

(a)shall cease to form part of electoral division 32 (Ballingry/Lochore) of Fife Region((1)) and of ward 7 (Ballingry) of Dunfermline District((2)); and

(b)shall form part of electoral division 19 (Kinglassie/Cardenden) of Fife Region and of ward 37 (Kinglassie/Bowhill) of Kirkcaldy District((3)).

(2) Area B described in Part II of the Schedule to this Order (being the area transferred by article 4(2) of this Order)—

(a)shall cease to form part of electoral division 19 (Kinglassie/Cardenden) of Fife Region and of ward 37 (Kinglassie/Bowhill) of Kirkcaldy District; and

(b)shall form part of electoral division 32 (Ballingry/Lochore) of Fife Region and of ward 7 (Ballingry) of Dunfermline District.

(1)

The electoral divisions of Fife Region were constituted by S.I. 1977/1983, to which there are amendments not relevant to this Order.

The wards of Dunfermline District were constituted by S.I. 1979/1345

(3)

The wards of Kirkcaldy District were constituted by S.I. 1980/210, to which there are amendments not relevant to this Order.
