Repeal of local enactments

2.  The enactments specified in column (1) of the Schedule to this Order (which enable the Thames Water Authority (as the successor to the Metropolitan Water Board(1)) to abstract defined quantities of water from the River Thames between Windsor and Teddington Weir) are hereby repealed to the extent specified in column (2) thereof.

The Thames Water Authority succeeded to the rights and obligations conferred on the Metropolitan Water Board by virtue of the provisions of Part II of Schedule 6 to the Water Act 1973 (c. 37).
