The Department of the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 51(5) of the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1981(1) and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Temporary Speed Limit (Sydenham By-Pass, Route A2, Belfast) (Continuation) (Revocation) Order (Northern Ireland) 1996 and shall come into operation on 3rd April 1996.
2. The Temporary Speed Limit (Sydenham By-Pass, Route A2, Belfast) (Continuation) Order (Northern Ireland) 1995(2) is hereby revoked.

This Order removes the temporary 30 miles per hour speed limit restriction on both carriageways of Sydenham By-Pass, Route A2, Belfast, from a point approximately 300 metres east of its junction with Dee Street to a point approximately 300 metres east of its junction with Connsbank Road, and removes the 40 miles per hour speed limit restriction on the eastbound carriageway of Sydenham By-Pass, Route A2, Belfast, from a point approximately 230 metres west of its junction with Dee Street to a point approximately 300 metres east of that junction.
