Adran 24 Ceisiadau i gofrestru: gwarchod plant

62.Mae adran 24 a rheoliadau sydd i’w gwneud o dan yr adran hon yn nodi’r hyn y mae’n rhaid i berson sy’n dymuno cofrestru fel gwarchodwr plant ei wneud er mwyn gwneud cais dilys am gofrestru.  Mae’n gosod dyletswydd hefyd ar Weinidogion Cymru i ganiatáu cais am gofrestru os caiff amodau penodol eu bodloni a dyletswydd i wrthod cais am gofrestru os na fodlonir yr amodau hynny.

63.Mae is-adran (2) yn darparu bod rhaid rhoi mewn cais wybodaeth am faterion yn ôl yr hyn sy’n ofynnol gan reoliadau, bod rhaid rhoi gwybodaeth arall y mae angen rhesymol amdani ar Weinidogion Cymru a bod rhaid i ffi a bennir mewn rheoliadau fynd gyda’r cais.  O dan is-adran (3) rhaid i Weinidogion Cymru ganiatáu cais onid yw’r ceisydd naill ai wedi ei anghymhwyso o dan adran 38 neu ei fod yn ymddangos bod y gofynion ar gyfer cofrestru fel gwarchodwr plant heb eu bodloni neu’n annhebygol o barhau i gael eu bodloni. Mae’r gofynion ar gyfer cofrestru fel gwarchodwr plant i’w nodi mewn rheoliadau o dan adran 25.  Pan na fo’n ofynnol i Weinidogion Cymru ganiatáu’r cais o dan is-adran (3), rhaid iddynt ei wrthod (is-adran (4)).
