39. In section 17 (charges for local authority services in England and Wales)—
(a)omit subsections (2A)(1) and (5);
(b)in paragraph (a) of subsection (3) omit “or a service within subsection (2A)(2)”;
(c)in the heading to the section, omit the words “and Wales”.

Section 17(2A) was inserted, in relation to Wales, by the Social Care Charges (Wales) Measure 2010, section 14(1), (4).
(2)
Section 17(3)(a) was amended by S.I. 2015/914, Schedule, paragraphs 30, 31(1), (4).
