Gweithdrefn yn dilyn ymchwiliad
16.—(1) Unwaith y bydd awdurdod lleol wedi cynnal ymchwiliad ac wedi canfod achos afiachusrwydd y dŵr, rhaid iddo weithredu yn unol â'r rheoliad hwn.
(2) Os yw achos y dŵr afiachus yn y pibwaith o fewn annedd sengl, rhaid iddo roi gwybod yn ddi-oed i'r bobl a wasanaethir a chynnig cyngor iddynt ynghylch y mesurau sy'n angenrheidiol i ddiogelu iechyd dynol.
(3) Fel arall, os na all yr awdurdod lleol ddatrys y broblem yn anffurfiol—
(a)caiff yr awdurdod lleol, os gwneir cais, ganiatáu awdurdodiad yn unol â rheoliad 17(2) os bodlonir yr amodau yn y rheoliad hwnnw; a
(b)os nad yw'n caniatáu awdurdodiad, rhaid i'r awdurdod lleol (neu, yn achos cyflenwad i annedd breifat sengl, caiff yr awdurdod lleol) gyflwyno hysbysiad, naill ai'n unol ag adran 80 o Ddeddf y Diwydiant Dŵr 1991(1) neu o dan reoliad 18 os bodlonir yr amodau yn y rheoliad hwnnw.
