The National Assembly for Wales (“the National Assembly”), in exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by sections 59, 69, 74, 78 and 333(7) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990(1), and now exercisable by the National Assembly in relation to Wales(2), and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
(1)
1990 c. 8: to which there are amendments not relevant to this Order.
(2)
The functions of the Secretary of State were, so far as exercisable in relation to Wales, transferred to the National Assembly by article 2 of, and Schedule 1 to, the National Assembly for Wales (Transfer of Functions) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/672) and are now exercisable by the National Assembly for Wales by virtue of article 4 of, and Schedule 3 to, the National Assembly for Wales (Transfer of Functions) Order 2000 (S.I. 2000/253) (W.5).
