1997 p.44. Mewnosodwyd paragraff newydd (gg) sy'n estyn pwerau'r Awdurdod Cymwysterau a Chwricwlwm yn is-adran (2) o adran 24 o'r Ddeddf honno gan is-adran (2) o adran 103 o Ddeddf Dysgu a Medrau 2000 (p.21) (“Deddf 2000”). Diwygiwyd adran 30(2) o Ddeddf 1997 gan adran 103(3) o Ddeddf 2000 i gynnwys cyfeiriad at yr adran 24(2)(gg) newydd yn Neddf 1997, gan ymestyn drwy hynny bwerau'r Ysgrifennydd Gwladol i roi swyddogaethau'r Awdurdod Cymwysterau a Chwricwlwm i Awdurdod Cymwysterau, Cwricwlwm ac Asesu Cymru. Gweler hefyd Orchymyn Addysg (Awdurdod Cymwysterau, Cwricwlwm ac Asesu Cymru) (Rhoi Swyddogaeth) 2001 (O.S. 3907/320) sy'n rhoi i ACCAC y swyddogaeth a gynhwysir yn adran 24(2)(gg). I gael ystyr “prescribed” yn adran 24(2)(gg) gweler adran 56(1).
