16. In Part 30 (Enforcement of fines and other orders for payment)—
(a)in rule 30.5 (Application to reduce a fine, vary payment terms or remit a courts charge)—
(i)in paragraph (2)(d)(i), for “section 21E of the Prosecution of Offences Act 1985(1)” substitute “section 50 of the Sentencing Act 2020(2)”,
(ii)in the first paragraph of the note to the rule, for “section 165 of the Criminal Justice Act 2003(3) and section 21E of the Prosecution of Offences Act 1985” substitute “sections 50 and 127 of the Sentencing Act 2020”, and
(iii)in the second paragraph of the note to the rule, for “section 21A of the 1985 Act(4)” substitute “section 46 of the 2020 Act”, for “section 21B” substitute “sections 44 and 45 of that Act” and for “section 21E” substitute “section 50”;
(b)omit rule 30.10 (Financial penalties imposed in other European Union member States) and the note to that rule; and
(c)amend the table of contents correspondingly.
