Standard conditions of electricity interconnector licences

6.—(1) The standard conditions of an electricity interconnector licence are amended as follows.

(2) In condition 1 (definition and interpretations)—

(a)for the definition of “Agency” substitute—

“Agency” means the European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators established by Regulation (EU) 2019/942 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 June 2019 establishing a European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (recast);;

(b)for the definition of “Regulation” substitute—

“Regulation” means Regulation (EU) 2019/943 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 June 2019 on the internal market for electricity (recast);.

(3) In condition 9 (use of revenues)—

(a)in Part B (use of revenues), for “Article 16(6)” substitute “Article 19(2) and (3)”;

(b)in Part C (use of revenues statement), in paragraph 5(c), for “Article 16(6)” substitute “Article 19(2) and (3)”.

(4) In condition 12 (application of licence conditions 9, 10 and 11: exemption orders)—

(a)in paragraph 2, for “Article 17” substitute “Article 63”;

(b)in paragraph 3, for “Article 17” substitute “Article 63”;

(c)in paragraph 5, for “Article 17” substitute “Article 63”.

(5) In condition 23 (regional cooperation), for “Article 12” substitute “Article 34”.
