Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1
The Lord Chancellor in exercise of the powers conferred by section 38(3), (4) and (5) of the County Courts Act 1984(1), having consulted the Lord Chief Justice in accordance with section 38(5) of that Act, makes the following Regulations, a draft of which has been laid before and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament in accordance with section 38(7) of that Act.
1984 c.28. Section 38 was substituted by section 3 of the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990 (c.41) and subsequently amended by sections 12 and 146 of, and paragraph 17 in Part 2 of Schedule 1 and Part 1 of Schedule 18 to, the Constitutional Reform Act 2005 (c.4), section 15 of, and paragraphs 160 and 167 in Part 1 of Schedule 4 to, the 2005 Act, and section 17 of, and paragraphs 1 and 10 in Part 1 of Schedule 9 and paragraphs 64 and 66 in Part 2 of Schedule 10 to, the Crime and Courts Act 2013 (c.22).
