Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by section 2(1) of the Carriage by Air Act 1961(1), section 108 of the Civil Aviation Act 1982(2), section 39 of the Aviation Security Act 1982(3), section 51 of the Aviation and Maritime Security Act 1990(4), and section 26(5) of the Merchant Shipping and Maritime Security Act 1997(5) is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is ordered, as follows:
1. This Order may be cited as the Overseas Territories (Change of Name) (No. 7) Order 2011 and shall come into force on 14th January 2012.
2.—(1) Schedule 2 to the Civil Aviation Act 1982 (Overseas Territories) (No. 2) Order 2001(6) and schedules 1 and 3 to the Aviation Security and Piracy (Overseas Territories) Order 2000(7) are amended by substituting for the words “St Helena and Dependencies” the words “St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha”.
(2) Schedule 2 to the Tokyo Convention Act 1967 (Overseas Territories) Order 1968(8) is amended by –
(a)deleting, after the words “Falkland Islands”, the words “(Colony and Dependencies)”;
(b)inserting in the list of territories, in the appropriate alphabetical position, “South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands”; and
(c)substituting for the words “St Helena and its Dependencies” the words “St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha”.
(3) Schedule 1 to the Carriage by Air (Parties to Convention) Order 1999(9) is amended—
(a)by substituting for the words “St Helena” the words “St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha”; and
(b)by deleting the words “St Helena Dependencies”.

This Order amends certain statutory instruments relating to civil aviation to reflect the current names of the British overseas territories of St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha and South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands.
