1.—(1) This order may be cited as the Natural History Museum (Authorised Repositories) Order 2011 and shall come into force on 1st August 2011.
(2) In this order “the Act” means the British Museum Act 1963.
2.—(1) For paragraph 2 of Part 2 of Schedule 3 to the Act there shall be substituted the following paragraph—
“The site in Tring lying to the east of Akeman Street and to the north of Park Street occupied at the commencement of this Act for the purposes of the British Museum (Natural History), but excluding —
the part of that site known as the “Boiler Room” and located on the ground floor of the Rothschild Building at that site;
the part of that site known as the “Roof Plant Area” and located on the roof of the Ornithology building of that site.”
(2) For paragraph 4 of Part 2 of Schedule 3 to the Act(3) there shall be substituted the following paragraphs—
“The site in Wandsworth known as 75 Kimber Road, London SW18 4NX, but excluding—
the part of that site known as the “Boiler Room” and located on the ground floor of that site;
the part of that site known as the “Plant Area” and located on the ground floor of that site;
the part of that site known as the “Chiller Compound Area” and located on the roof of that site;
the site known as 249 to 251 Merton Road, London SW18 5EB.”

This Order alters the description of the Natural History Museum’s authorised repository in Tring (being the site lying to the east of Akeman Street and to the north of Park Street) and authorised repository in Wandsworth (being the site known as 75 Kimber Road, London SW18 4NX).
