The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by sections 32 and 34(3) of the Extradition Act 1989(1), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is ordered, as follows:

Citation and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Overseas Territories (Change of Name) (No. 3) Order 2011 and shall come into force on 8th July 2011.

Amendment of an instrument

2.  Schedule 1 to the Extradition (Overseas Territories) Order 2002(2) is amended by replacing the words “St Helena and St Helena Dependencies” with the words “St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha”.

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends the Extradition (Overseas Territories) Order 2002 to reflect the current names of the British overseas territories of St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha.
