Penalty notices for offences created by regulation 25 of the Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009

2. After regulation 25 (offences) of the Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009(1) insert—
“Penalty notices
26.—(1) The offence created by regulation 25 is prescribed as a fixed penalty offence for the purposes of section 86 of the Act.
(2) The monetary amount of the penalty for that fixed penalty offence is—
(a)£1250 in the case of an offence committed by a person registered with the Commission as a service provider under Chapter 2 of Part 1 of the Act; and
(b)£625 in the case of an offence committed by a person registered with the Commission under that Chapter as a manager.”.
