1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Equality Act 2010 (General Qualifications Bodies) (Appropriate Regulator and Relevant Qualifications) Regulations 2010 and come into force on 1st October 2010.
(2) Regulations 3 and 4 apply in relation to England only.
2. An appropriate regulator(1) must publish any matter specified under section 96(7) of the Equality Act 2010 on the regulator’s website.
3. The appropriate regulator in relation to a qualifications body that confers qualifications in England is the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation(2).
4. Relevant qualifications(3) in relation to conferments in England are those qualifications listed in the Schedule.
