Amendment of regulation 2 to the SSR 2007

9.  In regulation 2 of the SSR 2007—

(a) after the definition of “current course”, insert—

““current distance learning course” means the designated distance learning course in respect of which a person is applying for support;”;

(b) after the definition of “designated course”, insert—

““designated distance learning course” means a course designated by the Secretary of State under regulation 109C;”;

(c) after the definition of “designated postgraduate course”, insert—

““disabled distance learning students’ allowance” means the grant payable under regulation 109H;”;

(d) after the definition of “electronic signature”, insert—

““eligible distance learning student” has the meaning given in regulation 109A;”;

(e) in the definition of “period of eligibility” after “eligible student,”, insert “in regulation 109D in relation to an eligible distance learning student,”.
