The Secretary of State for Health makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 7(4) and 16(2) of the Road Traffic (NHS Charges) Act 1999(1) and sections 156(1), (2) and (4), 157, 158(7) and 195(1) and (2) of the Health and Social Care (Community Health and Standards) Act 2003(2).
She has consulted the National Assembly for Wales in accordance with section 195(3) of that Act and the Council on Tribunals in accordance with section 8 of the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 1992(3):
1992 c.53. Section 8 was amended by S.I. 2001/3649 and Schedule 1, paragraph 41 was substituted by the Social Security Act 1998 (c.14), Schedule 7, paragraph 121.
