A draft of these Regulations has been approved by a resolution of each of House of Parliament pursuant to section 3(11) of the Compensation Act 2006.
The expression “responsible person” is defined in section 3(1) of the Compensation Act 2006 and by virtue of subsection 3(10)(a) include a reference to an insurer of a responsible person.
The expression “transitional compensation provision” is defined in section 3(10)(b) of the Compensation Act 2006.
