The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of power conferred by section 21 of the Road Traffic (NHS Charges) Act 1999(1), hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (NHS Charges) Act 1999 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1999.
2. The Road Traffic (NHS Charges) Act 1999 shall, except in relation to military hospitals as defined in section 15(2) of that Act, come into force on 5th April 1999.
