Amendments relating to fees
3.—(1) Regulation 7 shall be amended as follows.
(2) For paragraph (4) there shall be substituted the following paragraph–
“(4) Regulations 12(4) and (4A), and 16(4), (4A), (5) and (5A) of the 1988 Regulations(1) shall apply with appropriate modification to an inspection or further inspection after a vehicle has failed an inspection.”

“The 1988 Regulations” is defined in regulation 2(1) of the Road Vehicles (Prohibition) Regulations 1992 as meaning the Goods Vehicles (Plating and Testing) Regulations 1988 (S.I. 1988/1478). Relevant amending instruments are S.I. 1989/1693, 1991/45, 1992/564, 1993/2048, and 1997/82.
