Having made such arrangements for consultation on his proposals pursuant to section 242(1) of the Education Act 1993(1) as he considered appropriate, the Secretary of State for Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 17 and 232(5) and (6) of the Education Reform Act 1988(2), hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Education (National Curriculum) (Exceptions) (Wales) (Revocation) Regulations 1996 and shall come into force on 1st October 1996.

Revocation of Regulations

2.  The Education (National Curriculum) (Exceptions) (Wales) Regulations 1994(3) are revoked.
