The A556 Trunk Road (Church Farm-Turnpike Wood, Over Tabley) Order 1996

Coming into force
28th June 1996
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the A556 Trunk Road (Church Farm-Turnpike Wood, Over Tabley) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 28th June 1996.
(2) In this Order all measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highway.
2. The new highway which the Secretary of State proposes to construct along the route described in the Schedule to this Order shall become a trunk road from the date when this Order comes into force.
3. The centre line of the new trunk road is indicated by a heavy black line on the plan marked “The A556 Trunk Road (Church Farm-Turnpike Wood, Over Tabley) Order 1996”, signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, LG12 Great Minster House, 76 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DR.

THE SCHEDULEROUTE OF THE NEW TRUNK ROAD
The route of the new trunk road is about 80 metres in length, from a point on the A556 Trunk Road, 415 metres north of the junction with Moss Lane to a point 495 metres north of the same junction (and between two new roundabouts to be constructed by the Secretary of State as improvements to the A556 Chester Road pursuant to the “A556(M) Motorway (M6-M56 Link) and Connecting Roads (Side Roads) (No. 2) Order 1996.”) all at Over Tabley in the County of Cheshire.
