Rate of grant
8.—(1) Grant at the higher rate for England shall be payable in respect of any expenditure incurred by an education authority in England on bursaries paid under regulation 5(b) to students participating in the Articled Teachers Scheme up to the maximum amount for such expenditure notified under regulation 7(1) or (2).
(2) Grant at the higher rate for Wales shall be payable in respect of any expenditure incurred by an education authority in Wales for the purpose of training students participating in the Articled Teachers Scheme referred to in regulation 4(c) up to the maximum amount for such expenditure notified under regulation 7(1) or (2).
(3) Grant at the standard rate shall be payable in respect of any expenditure incurred by an education authority on any other eligible training up to the maximum amount for such expenditure notified under regulation 7(1) or (2).
