Citation and commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Revenue Support Grant (Specified Bodies) Regulations 1992 and shall come into force on 11th February 1992.
Revocation
2. In relation to any financial year beginning on or after 1st April 1992, the Rate Support Grant (Specified Bodies) Regulations 1988(1), the Revenue Support Grant (Specified Bodies) Regulations 1989(2), and the Revenue Support Grant (Specified Bodies) Regulations 1990(3), are hereby revoked.
Specified Bodies
3. The following bodies are hereby specified for the purposes of section 76(4) of the Local Government Finance Act 1988, namely:—
(a)The Local Government Management Board;
(b)The Fire Services Examinations Board;
(c)The Local Authorities' Race Relations Information Exchange;
(d)The National Foundation for Educational Research in England and Wales;
(e)The Staff College;
(f)The National Institute of Adult Continuing Education;
(g)The Local Government International Bureau; and
(h)The Local Authorities Co-ordinating Body on Trading Standards.
