The Watermark Disease (Local Authorities) (Amendment) Order 1992

Title and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Watermark Disease (Local Authorities) (Amendment) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 10th February 1992.

Amendment of the Watermark Disease (Local Authorities) Order 1974

2.  The Watermark Disease (Local Authorities) Order 1974(1) shall be further amended by substituting–

(a) in article 8 thereof for the words “shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding £1000” the words “shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale”;

(b) for Schedule 1 thereto (local authorities to which the Order applies) the following Schedule—

Article 3

“SCHEDULE 1

LOCAL AUTHORITIES TO WHICH THIS ORDER APPLIES

County Councils:

• Bedfordshire

• Essex

• Hertfordshire

• Norfolk

• Suffolk

• Wiltshire”.

Revocation

3.  The Watermark Disease (Local Authorities) (Amendment) Order 1986(2) is hereby revoked.
