Amendments relating to Speed Limiter
4. After item 8 in Schedule 1, there shall be added the following item—
| “9. | Speed limiters | Construction and Use Regulations(1) | Design, construction and equipment requirements in regulation 36B, paragraph (2) and either— (a) paragraph (3)(a), or (b) paragraph (4) excluding the requirement relating to calibrations | Vehicles with a maximum gross weight of less than 7500 kg. | 1.2.1992 |

| These Regulations | Requirements relating to maximum speed specified in the note below. | ||||
| Note: A vehicle meets the requirements relating to maximum speed referred to above if it has a maximum speed (within the meaning of the Construction and Use Regulations) of less than 60 miles per hour.” |

“Construction and Use Regulations” is defined in regulation 2(1) of the Motor Vehicles (Type Approval for Goods Vehicles) (Great Britain) Regulations 1982.
