In pursuance of sections 18(1)(d) and 24(2) of the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976(1) I hereby make the following Order:
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Lotteries (Registration Authority Fees) Order 1991 and shall come into force on 2nd December 1991.
(2) This Order shall not extend to Scotland.
2. The fee payable under paragraph 3 of Schedule 1 to the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976(2) (which makes provision for the registration of a society for the purposes of section 5 of that Act and prescribes a fee payable upon such registration to a registration authority) shall, instead of £25, be £35.
3. The fee payable under paragraph 9 of Schedule 1 to the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976(3) (which provides for an annual fee payable by a society registered under Part I of that Schedule to a registration authority) shall, instead of £12.50, be £17.50.
4. The Lotteries (Registration Authority Fees) Order 1985(4) is hereby revoked.

This Order increases the fee payable to a registration authority in England and Wales on the registration of a society under Part I of Schedule 1 to the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976 from £25 to £35. It also increases from £12.50 to £17.50 the annual fee payable by a registered society.
