Consequential changes of electoral arrangements

5.—(1) Area A described in Part I of the Schedule to this Order (being the area transferred by article 4(1) of this Order) —

(a)shall cease to form part of electoral division 22 of Fife Region(1) and of ward 5 (Auchtermuchty/Strathmiglo) of North East Fife District(2); and

(b)shall form part of electoral division 46 (Kinross) of Tayside Region(3) and of ward 28 (West Kinross) of Perth and Kinross District(4).

(2) Each of areas B and C described in Part II of the Schedule to this Order (being the areas transferred by article 4(2) of this Order)–

(a)shall cease to form part of electoral division 46 (Kinross) of Tayside Region and of ward 28 (West Kinross) of Perth and Kinross District; and

(b)shall form part of electoral division 22 of Fife Region and of ward 5 (Auchtermuchty/Strathmiglo) of North East Fife District.

The electoral divisions of Fife Region were constituted by S.I. 1977/1983, to which there are amendments not relevant to this Order.

(2)

The wards of North East Fife District were constituted by S.I. 1979/158, to which there are amendments not relevant to this Order.

(3)

The electoral divisions of Tayside Region were constituted by S.I. 1978/58, to which there are amendments not relevant to this Order.

(4)

The wards of Perth and Kinross District were constituted by S.I. 1979/1401, to which there are amendments not relevant to this Order.
