The Secretary of State in exercise of his powers under section 45 of the Companies Act 1989(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf hereby makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Company Auditors (Recognition Orders) (Application Fees) Regulations 1990 and shall come into force on 2nd July 1990.
2.—(1) An applicant for a recognition order declaring the applicant to be a recognised supervisory body for the purposes of Part II of the Companies Act 1989 shall pay a fee of £6,500 in respect of its application.
(2) An applicant for a recognition order declaring a qualification offered by it to be a recognised professional qualification for the purposes of Part II of the Companies Act 1989 shall pay a fee of £6,000 in respect of its application.
