Consequential changes of electoral arrangements

5.  The area described in the Schedule to this Order (being the area transferred by article 4 of this Order)—

(a)shall cease to form part of electoral division 39 (Niddrie/Craigmillar) of Lothian Region(1) and of ward 61 (Niddrie) of City of Edinburgh District(2); and

(b)shall form part of electoral division 45 (Musselburgh) of Lothian Region and of ward 4 (Musselburgh (West)) of East Lothian District(3).

The electoral divisions of Lothian Region were constituted by S.I. 1978/418, to which there are amendments not relevant to this Order.

The wards of City of Edinburgh District were constituted by S.I. 1979/1291, to which there are amendments not relevant to this Order.
