The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 50A(4) of the Schedule to the Electric Lighting (Clauses) Act 1899(1) as incorporated with the Electricity Act 1947(2), hereby makes the following Regulations:—

(1)

1899 c. 19; section 50A was inserted by the Energy Act 1983 (c. 25), Schedule 1, paragraph 6.

(2)

1947 c. 54; section 57(2) incorporates the Schedule to the Electric Lighting (Clauses) Act 1899 with adaptations and modifications.
