Amendment of regulations

2.—(1) Schedule 3A to the National Health Service (General Medical and Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 1974(1) (drugs and other substances not to be prescribed for supply under pharmaceutical services) shall be amended in accordance with the following paragraphs of this regulation.

(2) The following entries shall be omitted:—

  • Fenoprofen Tablets 200mg

  • Maalox Tablets

  • Maalox TC Tablets

  • Progesic Tablets 200 mg.

(3) The following entries shall be inserted at the appropriate point in the alphabetical order:—

  • Actonorm Gel

  • Angiers Junior Paracetamol Tablets

  • Catarrh—Ex Tablets

  • Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide Solution 3.75 mg/5 ml

  • Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide Solution 7.5 mg/5 ml

  • Haliborange Tablets

  • Hot Blackcurrant Cold Remedy (Beechams)

  • Hot Lemon Cold Remedy (Beechams)

  • Librofem Tablets

  • Mentholatum Nasal Inhaler

  • Night Nurse Capsules

  • Panacron Nasal Spray

  • Paxidal Tablets

  • Resolve Granules

  • Robitussin Cough Soother

  • Robitussin Cough Soother Junior Formula

  • Robitussin Plus Liquid

  • Seclodin Capsules

  • Seven Seas Malt and Cod Liver Oil

  • Simeco Suspension

  • Simeco Tablets.
