The Minister for the Civil Service, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 1(5) and (8)(a) of the Superannuation Act 1972, hereby makes the following Order:—
1. This Order may be cited as the Superannuation (Listed Employments and Offices) Order 1975, and shall come into operation on 13th May 1975.
2. The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply for the interpretation of this Order as it applies for the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.
3. Employment by the Royal Commission on the Distribution of Income and Wealth is hereby added to the employments listed in Schedule 1 to the Superannuation Act 1972 with effect from 1st August 1974.
4. The office of Chairman of the Parole Board is hereby added to the offices listed in that Schedule with effect from 1st March 1974.

This Order adds—
(a) employment by the Royal Commission on the Distribution of Income and Wealth, and
(b) the office of Chairman of the Parole Board,
to the employments and offices listed in Schedule 1 to the Superannuation Act 1972 so that the principal civil service pension scheme made under section 1 of that Act may apply to persons employed by the Commission and to the Chairman of the Parole Board.
Under the power conferred by section 1(8)(a) of the 1972 Act the Order takes effect from 1st August 1974 in relation to the Commission and from 1st March 1974 in relation to the Chairman of the Parole Board.
