  2. I.King's College and Marischal College, Aberdeen, to be united under the Title of "University of Aberdeen".

  3. II.Appointment of Chancellors.

  4. III.Offices of Principal in Glasgow, Aberdeen, and Edinburgh not to be deemed "Chairs of Theology".

  5. IV.University Courts to be constituted.

  6. V.Powers of the Senatus Academicus and Principal.

  7. VI.General Councils of the Universities to be constituted.

  8. VII.General Council of the University of Aberdeen to consist of Persons herein named.

  9. St. Andrew's

    1. VIII.University Court, of whom to consist.

  10. Glasgow

    1. IX.University Court, of whom to consist.

  11. Aberdeen

    1. X.University Court, of whom to consist.

  12. Edinburgh

    1. XI.University Court, of whom to consist.

    2. XII.Powers of University Courts.

    3. XIII.Right of Nomination to Professorships vested in University Courts.

    4. XIV.Appointment of Commissioners. Her Majesty may fill up Vacancies. Declaration of Powers of Commissioners.

    5. XV.Powers of Commissioners:

    6. XVI.Scottish Universities may surrender Power of granting Degrees on Grant of Charter for a National University.

    7. XVII.No such Surrender, &c. to be valid unless signified in Writing by the Chancellor, &c.

    8. XVIII.Powers of Commissioners as to University of Aberdeen.

    9. XIX.Power to University Court to alter or revoke Statutes passed by Commissioners after Expiration of their Powers.

    10. XX.Instructions issued by Her Majesty to be considered by Commission.

    11. XXI.How Parliamentary Grant to be applied.

    12. XXII.Power to Treasury to grant Moneys for Purposes herein named.

    13. XXIII.Commissioners under this Act specially to regard Ee-ports of Commissioners for visiting Universities of Scotland.

    14. XXIV.Rules, Statutes, &c. when approved, to be entered in a Book, and signed by the Commissioners.

    15. XXV.Universities may sue and be sued under Titles herein named.

    16. XXVI.No Distinction to be henceforward recognized among Professors of Glasgow University.

    17. XXVII.Nothing in this Act to affect certain Trusts.
