An Act to amend section' six hundred and fifty-nine of the Merchant Shipping Act, 1894.

Be it enacted by the King's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :
The power of His Majesty, under section six hundred and fifty-nine of the Merchant Shipping Act, 1894, as amended by subsequent enactments, by Order in Council to fix the annual or other sums to be paid out of the General Lighthouse Fund in respect of the establishment of the general lighthouse authorities, shall extend to fixing the annual or other sums to be paid out of that fund to members of the general lighthouse authority for England and Wales, and the sums so fixed shall have effect notwithstanding anything in any Act limiting the amount thereof.
This Act may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Amendment) Act, 1920, and shall be included amongst the Acts which may be cited together as the Merchant Shipping Acts, 1894 to 1920.
