5Where the new policy referred to in paragraph 9 of Schedule 1 is one issued on or after the appointed day then, in determining under sub-paragraph (2) of that paragraph whether that policy would or would not (apart from that paragraph) be a qualifying policy there shall be left out of account so much of the first premium payable thereunder as is accounted for by the value of the old policy.
