The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 204 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1987(1) and all other powers enabling them to do so.
1. This Order may be cited as the Housing Revenue Account General Fund Contribution Limits (Scotland) Order 2010 and comes into force on 1st April 2010.
2. The amount of contribution out of its general fund which a local authority may estimate that it will carry to the credit of its housing revenue account for the year 2010‑2011 is limited to nil.

This Order provides that local authorities must not include in their estimates for the year 2010‑2011 any contribution from their general fund to their housing revenue account.
1987 c.26. The functions of the Secretary of State were transferred to the Scottish Ministers by virtue of section 53 of the Scotland Act 1998 (c.46).
