The Scottish Ministers in exercise of the powers conferred by section 102(1) of the Police, Public Order and Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 2006(1), and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Police, Public Order and Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 2006 (Consequential Modifications) Order 2007 and shall come into force on 1st April 2007.
2. In paragraph 2 of the Schedule to the Road User Charging (Exemption from Charges) (Scotland) Regulations 2004(2), after “police officer” insert “or member of the Scottish Crime and Drug Enforcement Agency”.
3.—(1) The Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 (Specified Persons for Financial Reporting Orders) (Scotland) Order 2006(3) is modified as follows.
(2) In article 1(3), the definitions of “the Scottish Drug Enforcement Agency” and “the Director” are revoked.
(3) In article 2, for paragraph (b) substitute–
“(b)the Director General of the Scottish Crime and Drug Enforcement Agency.”.

This Order makes consequential modifications to subordinate legislation in consequence of the Police, Public Order and Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 2006.
Article 2 amends the Road User Charging (Exemption from Charges) (Scotland) Regulations 2004 to add vehicles driven by members of the Scottish Crime and Drug Enforcement Agency to the descriptions of vehicles exempted from payment of charges under the Transport (Scotland) Act 2001.
Article 3 amends the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 (Specified Persons for Financial Reporting Orders) (Scotland) Order 2006 by replacing the existing reference to the Director of the Scottish Drug Enforcement Agency with a reference to the Director General of the Scottish Crime and Drug Enforcement Agency.
