The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs is a Northern Ireland Department designated(1), for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972(2), in relation to the common agricultural policy of the European Community and matters relating to the promotion of rural development.
The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972.
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Common Agricultural Policy (Review of Decisions) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2019 and shall come into operation on 13th May 2019.
2. The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954(3) shall apply to these Regulations as it applies to an Act of the Assembly.
3. The Common Agricultural Policy (Review of Decisions) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015(4) shall be amended as provided by regulation 4.
4. In regulation 4(4)(b) for “£100” substitute “£200”.

These Regulations amend the Common Agricultural Policy (Review of Decisions) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015 (S.R. 2015 No. 318).
These Regulations increase the level of fee to be paid by applicants for the review of a relevant determination made by the Department by an independent Panel.
S.I. 2000/2812 and S.I. 2000/3238 to which there are amendments not relevant to the subject matter of these Regulations
1972 c. 68. Section 2(2) was amended by section 27(1) of the Legislative and Regulatory Reform Act 2006 (c.51) and section 3(3) of, and Part 1 of the Schedule to, the European Union (Amendment) Act 2008 (c.7).
