The Waste and Contaminated Land (Amendment) (2011 Act) (Commencement No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2013

The Department of the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 12(1) of the Waste and Contaminated Land (Amendment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2011(1), makes the following Order:

Citation

1.  This Order may be cited as the Waste and Contaminated Land (Amendment) (2011 Act) (Commencement No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2013.

Appointed day

2.  The appointed day for the coming into operation of—

(a) section 1 (fixed penalty notices for offences under Article 4); and

(b) section 2 (detention of seized property),

of the Waste and Contaminated Land (Amendment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2011 is 12^th March 2013.

This Order brings into operation sections 1 and 2 of the Waste and Contaminated Land (Amendment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2011(2) on 12^th March 2013.
