The Secretary of State makes the following Order, in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 1 (4), and 100 (4) of the Criminal Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2008 (1).
Citation and Interpretation
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2008 (Commencement No. 6 and Transitional Provision) Order 2010.
(2) In this Order “the 2008 Order” means the Criminal Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2008.
Commencement
2. Article 92 of the 2008 Order shall come into operation on 26th February 2010.
Transitional Provision
3. Article 92 of the 2008 Order applies in relation to warrants referred to in sub-paragraphs (a) and (b) of paragraph (2) of that Article issued on or after 26th February 2010.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order brings into operation the provisions of Article 92 of the Criminal Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2008 on 26th February 2010. Article 92 makes provision regarding the proving of the execution of arrest warrants.
